Dear all,

I noticed that registered user can have different status.

I would like to know how can I set the rights for different status? I mean can I set if editor have the right delete things or only the registered user and do.

Or am I got something wrong with the registered user section?

Right now, the only difference between the rights are:

'Not Validated' => won't be allowed to login.
'Editor' => will show up when you click Editors on the User menu.

None of the other status's mean much yet I'm afraid. =)

Will you give different user of different right in the future? I mean just like what DBman have. Or is it easy to modify to have such a feature?

i imagine alex implemented editors and he is leaving the rest to ourselves. as you add different things for users.. you'll add different type of logins..

alex can't add everything you want in the original version cause not all of us will have a dicussion forum or a password protected download section or something..

Hi Bear,

It's easy to add different rights, as to what those are used for, that's still to be implemented (or left for people to implement as they want). The user system is designed to easily pass session id from page to page, so people who want to integrate with other applications will have an easier time.
