Is it possible for the user to choose multiple categories when they add their link? I know I can do it through the admin panel. I was hoping there was a way I could modify Links SQL to accomplish this (giving the user the option of choosing multiple categories). I am NOT a Perl guru so any help would be so greatly appreciated.

This has been asked a few times. When the new version of links comes out, the category logic changes. So does the logic for alt- categories and links. It might make it easier to implement this modification (or it might be built in).

Right now, there is no easy way, since it would require changes to the basic logic for adding a link -- and with the new version due out, these changes are not really worth the effort!

The changes are going to make it easier (hopefully) to implement modifications and to get data in and out of the database. From what I've been led to believe in the announcements it's taking Links SQL further from it's flat-file origins and more to fully optimized SQL-based logic and code.
