Hi,
I'm a new Links SQL user.
Could someone plese explain (as simple as possible) how to add the same link to multiple categories (e.g. the U.S. Patent Office both under us/government and patents/registrars).
I understand there is a way to do this without adding the link more than once.

get the Link's ID.. then go to the admin.. click view. search for the Link ID.. it should return the link.. under Category it should say "Alternate".. click that..

Also, if you add a link in the Admin area, after you add the link and are shown the "results" page, you can click the "alternates" link in the category line and go to add the categories there.

Also, in the Validate area, you are presented with a drop down box you can add the link to alternate areas as well as change the primiary one before validating.

I'm not sure why it's done this way, but it may be the link has to have an ID before you can alternates, so the Admin-Add is a two step process, but modify and validate it's all one process.
