I had not used a password for mysql admin, but have now added one. Where must I edit to allow links to work with the password?

After including a password in your database, go in Links SQL'S setup and insert in the field password the same value.

If you mean you now have to access the mysql database with an ID/PW, you need to enter the password at the top of each of the .def files.

If you run your own MySQL server, don't forget to RESTART it every time you make password or ID changes -- or they won't show up!! Then, the next time you start up you won't know why things don't work the way they should!
