I've started working on the FAQ area as a quiet time project (too much coding can go to ones head).
I've moved all the "LinkSQL" topics to a subtopic, and added two new topics:
Wish List and Projects in Progress.
If you have ideas and wish lists for Links, and start some threads here, and I'll organize them in the FAQ area. That way, new people can find a list of things already being thought of, or worked on, and it will keep the threads in some sort of order.
Also, some help to add threads if anyone is interested. I don't know if I got the add routines working, but if anyone wants to help out I can send you a short guidelines sheet for how I've tried to keep the links and keywords.
I'll be adding in a forum area just for developers to discuss the wish-list and projects in development. I think the forum here is getting cluttered, and UBB has real problems. This is still the "support" area, but maybe if we take some of the non-support development issues elsewhere we won't seem to be pressuring Alex or confusing people as to what is and isn't really part of the Links Package.
People have started taking Links in several different directions, but the first step is still to get it up and running and customizing the templates and fields. Some of that is getting lost in the SQL and .cgi programming.
Let me know what you think.
