I need to re import to links SQL, do i need to delete all the information in all the tables first or will it be overwritten automatically?

Yes, you need to EMPTY all data from your tables before you re-import the data. Unfortunately, with the current version of LINKS SQL, the data appends to the current table, it does not overwrite data.
