How to get search to work
Hi,

I've parsed portions of the open directory. I understand that the links that are parsed will not be eligible for searching. What is the procedure (via telnet) for turning these links on so that they can be searched.

I apologize if this has been asked before?

You may need to add a weight to all of the fields you want to search on. Have a look at:

Thanks pugdog and Robert_B. I did need to set the weight on the Links fields and I did try to index via telnet but I got the following message:

bash-2.02$ perl nph-index.cgi
(offline mode: enter name=value pairs on standard input)


What needs to be entered here?
