Bug report : Category.Hirarchy
Hello Alex!

May be this is a bug, if not pl. excuse me.

After deleting the categories, inserting the same or new ones, the Heiarchy CatID<>SubCat remains. Then entering new links asigning new categories does not change the heiarchy in the field of CatID!!!

This is perhaphs not dangerous as this cannot do anything in anywhere. In the Links and the Category table everything is fine only the problem remains in the Heiarchy table.

This is also the same for the depth!!!

Hello Alex!

My problem of english. Following are the steps that I did without knowing what it would result and found out that it could be interesting to you.

1 - Deleting the categories in an existing database which has categories + links information.

At this time there are links in the Links table + related info of it in other tables. Then I deleted all the categories. So the links has no reference to their categories. I wanted to check what will happen and how the links are standing and what will happen to all related tables.

2 - Inserting the same or new ones.

Links table untouched. Insert new categories in the Category table.

What happens then in this step to all the tables?

3 - The Heiarchy CatID<>SubCat remains.

This table has 0 categories mentioned.

4 - Asigning new categories

Even if you entered the new categories which was the same as before, here there is no change.

5 - Then entering new links

Now add new links in new or old categories.

6 - This does not change the heiarchy in the field of CatID!!!
