dedicated database required?
hello. basic question I was hoping someone would answer.

Does Linkssql require its own (dedicated) database? or can the database be used to run other applications in addition to linkssql?

Links SQL does not need a dedicated database. You can use your existing database, and share it with other applications.

When installing Links SQL, you are asked to provide a table prefix (e.g. 'lsql_'), and all tables that Links SQL uses will be prefixed with that string (so that you'll end up with tables like 'lsql_Links', 'lsql_Category', 'lsql_Users', etc.) in order to prevent naming clashes.
