Hi,

let's say i've an unmodified Links SQL with 50.000 entries - what size will have the mySQL-database?

I would estimate the following:

Links table = 20 MGs
Category table = 2 MGs
Category Index tables = 10 MGs
Links Index tables = 100 MGs
Miscellanous tables = 20 MGs

TOTAL: 200+ MGs

Again, this is a conservative estimate.

If you look in the FAQ, I think alex posted to some threads about the estimated size of average DMOZ type records.
