I was playing with the new demo, and it occurred to me, there is an easy way to validate new reviews and links, but there is not an easy way to validate new users.

Am I just not seeing the option to do this, or is there just not an easy way to validate users?

I'm not following you.

Users self-validate by answering the email that is sent to them.

Gossamer-Forum has an additional option to allow admin approval of users, but this feature doesn't seem to be in Links SQL (yet?).

Once the Gossamer Community feature comes out, much of the sign-up and validation issues will go away, I hope :) One central place to maintain user data -- names, email, etc, -- and each program will then maintain it's own ancillary database (probably). Alex has not yet released the details, though.
