Hello,

A customer asked me for a solution to store all their data in an ordered way.

Most of their data would be stored in Micorsoft Word files. I was wondering if Links SQL can also make searches into these kind of documents.

What about PDF files?

If it cannot, could be possible to write an script that did it? How much more or less?

Hi,

You'd be best off using Links SQL to manage the meta information of each document (title, author, summary, etc), and then use a third party tool like htdig or swish-e to do the full text indexing of the word files.
