Ok, I know that everyone might bash me about this, since Links is such a great script and is actually cheap in price compared to search engines of a lesser nature.

I was wondering if there will ever be a price drop. For me it's very expensive. And I really need this script. I don't make any money from my site and trust me, it's hard to find a job here where I live. Thanks guys.

Why not start out with Links2 (non-SQL)?

Its cheaper and would give you a head-start on learning how to manage and run a directory. Once you've started to build a good framework and earned some cash, move up to Links SQL.

In other words, I don't think the price will go down at all. If you are a member of a non-for-profit or educational institution, you can get a discount. No, being a student does not count. You would have to be a staff/faculty member of the educational institution to receive the discount.

I already do use it (non sql), my data base is huge and sometimes it deletes links on it's own.
