hello there

I wanna merge a Links database into my existing LINKS SQL databse.
i want all the categories and links to be imported into a specific subcategory within sql databse.

(links 2 top categories are countries names, i want them to be imported into Links SQl subcategory regional/countries).

Any idea how to do that without erasing my current data?
i was thinking about import.pl but I think it will erase my data and it will write the categories as a top level categories.

Any suggestions?

how big is the database you want to merge in?

How many categories and how many links?

It has got about 35 categories and about 500 links.
