2 licences?

2 licences?
Hello, I am considering purchasing linksSQL to run our archived stories on our site, and in addition would like to have it run a small links directory. These would (I think) be two seperate installs of the software, no?

(I am new to DB stuff, so please excuse the naive question)

If they are two seperate installs, I understand that we would have to purchase two licences, correct?

Yes that is correct but if your second directory is likely to be small then you may want to use Links2.......up to you though.

IF any data is going to be connected (related), let's say between information contained in articles or links, or you want people to add links and/or articles, it is BEST NOT to mix flat file and MySQL systems...I would suggest choosing the best system to fit your needs...and you would not need a separate license for posting a second set of content from the same MySQL database application...

Now, if you wanted to have let's say three copies of links in three different languages using totally different databases and scripts, then yes, you would need to purchase two licenses...
