strange error iun nph-verify

Hello

I have checked a databse with 2000 links & 80% of it returns the following message after re check

Checked 1708 - Request Failed (-7) Message: ID could not be resolved Unknown ID

I'm quite sure that more than 90% of the links are fine.

why this message, does anybody know????


(I work under mod_perl & have no plugins installed)

Hi,

That is strange. Can you try running it from shell and see if it gives you the same problem? Run:

perl nph-verify.cgi --check_all

I've checked all the code again, & it works when I did a complete new setup & impport the content again.

I think the database was broken.

Hi,

That sounds like the problem. If the links table is corrupted, then the link verifier won't be able to lookup the URL from the ID. You can also try doing a REPAIR TABLE tablename to repair the tables.
