I have notice that the demo seach of linksql2.0 at

is different from the version we got.



For example:

We have data 22,222,2222,22223 in links db

When i enter "22" THE demo version seach script will only find one record. that is "22" only.

while the sales version will return all links contains "22". So the search result will be

"22","222","2222","22223".



As i just first time install linksql, and do not know if there is any modification here to allow user to

do more accurate search?

Go to Setup > Search Options and turn "search_substring" to off.

It seems that it still did not work even i turn off "search_substring" .

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CONFIG ?

If you are using NON-INDEXED search, it will always use substring searches. You might try MYSQL (if you're using Mysql) or INTERNAL (I use this one). To change the indexing scheme, go to Database > Links > Properties and change the index scheme from the pulldown menu. You will have to click "Rebuild Search" after changing the scheme. You can find more about the pros and cons of each indexing scheme in the manual.
