Hi there,
I've run the base install for glinks 2.99.1 and everything worked fine, but I can't figure out how to migrate data from my previous version.
As this version is a beta version, it seems like it's best to do the install into a different directory so that I can keep my site running.
I expected to be able to use the database->import from Links 2.x but when I try to import, I get the following message:
Import error: CRITICAL ERROR OCCURED: Cannot open path/to/defs/category.def:
The path is correct, but the category.def it's looking for should be links_category.def.
it seems to not recognize the PREFIX as found in database def file.
I see that someone else had this problem:
http://gossamer-threads.com/perl/gforum/gforum.cgi?t=search_engine&do%3Dpost_view_threaded%3Bpost_latest_reply%3Bso%3DASC%3Bpost%3D279579=View+Threaded
It's difficult to do any testing with live data without a lot of extra work of manually recreating fields. Or is there a better way to do a migration of data to a new script set?
I'll look forward to hearing from you.
peace.
