Is there a way to have 'page.cgi?p=sometemplate' have available the properties of a link?

So like: page.cgi?p=sometemplate&ID=1

then have link id info available to use.

Or another way - call a detailed page dynamically but using a different template then detailed.html

Can this be done?

You can display a detailed page using a different template set as follows:

page.cgi?g=Detailed/1234.html;t=your_different_template;

Alternatively, you can use the PageBuilder plugin to define any number of additional 'Detailed' pages quite easily.
