I have a bit of a problem when running nph-verify.cgi and wonder if it needs tweaking (or if I can tweak mine to run a bit more smoothly)
I'm on a semi dedicated package so I've got quite a lot more resources than a shared server but not quite as much as say a VPS or dedicated.
A few of the processes/checks run for an age (more than 300 minutes) and were stuck causing only problem for all other clients on the server preventing their connections to be established to the server. Then I get the 'server gone away error'
Can there be a setting applied to prevent the verify of lnks not relentlessly pounding away on difficult ones to speed up the process.
