Shades of an older problem. When you edit a field in the Admin area, the 'Form Display' column is filled in -- even if you leave it blank. This suggests one of two not-necessarily mutually exclusive problems: 1) they are not being properly filled out during the install/resync process and/or 2) something different is going on during the field edit.
Also, the () problem when adding fields I mentioned back in beta 2 (or 3?) is back. They show up when you edit through the admin, but not if you add a field via MySQLMan and resync.
Another oddity. I had a date field - set to non-null and I did not specify a default value. In the Admin, I would be constantly prompted "field cannot be ''" when I tried to add a record. So, I set the default in the table->edit area to 0000-00-00. Now, when I try to add a new record, I get the _current_ date inserted automatically!! Is this a "good thing" or a bug?
