If you set db_gen_category_list to 'no' , what do you get in place of a drop-down-list?

If you set it to no (probably due to your list of categories being too large), then the user will have to enter the category before clicking on the "Add a Link" link.

You mean users will be presented with a HTML text box to manually enter in the category name? That could lead to a lot of editing on the admins part!



Has someone created a bread-crumb-like plug-in (like the Admin panel's 'Browse') to allow people to drill down to their desired category in that way?

I've seen other directory scripts do that; it is very effective and intuitive.

When I say 'enter', I mean navigating to that category.
