hi,

just wondering if i could upgrade from 2.05 to 2.1

i like all category pages ext. to be .html

will i still be able to do so? or will all be .php now

No, nothing will be in .php unless you want it to be. Everything will work just like before, the .php is a new feature not a replacement.
