Not Clear on This

Created build_directory_field in set up named -> TestingCategory
Created column in Category named -> TestingCategory (Char, 255,Text, RegExp- ^\w+\/\w+$ )
Table Resync'd

Go To Add Category - named HappyCamper, subcat of Root, I get
Testing Category cannot contain the value 'HappyCamper'

Which Step did I miss?

TestingCategory cannot contain the value '/happy/camper'
