is it possible, for backward compatibility to support also
the old CategoryID from Links SQL 1.x and not only the CatLinks.CategoryID, or is it possible to translate CategoryID to CatLinks.CategoryID if CategoryID is submitted ?

Reason: Support for external automatic submission services.

Version 2.X uses an intersection table for storing multiple links in multiple categories. I don't really think it is backward compatible other than IMPORTING Links SQL v.1.X data into the new data structure in LINKS SQL v.2.X.

I have seen it at the table, but if the form submitted only one CategoryID, i think, it can not be a problem, to translate this CategoryID.
It would be a fine solution for me, the submissionservices then have time to change the form.
