I've been moving my site between servers, and am now having problems gettings LinksSQL to work properly - any user CGI scripts result in :

A fatal error has occured:

Can't call method "prepare" without a package or object reference at D:/http/servicepals.com/cgi-bin/directory/admin/GT/SQL/Driver.pm line 153.

Please enable debugging in setup for more details.

I suspect that this may be a database problem - running MS-SQL2000 but am not sure.

Can anyone advise?

I think that means your SQL database connection is not being establised correctly (maybe the wrong host/user/pass?). I'm pretty sure that is the problem I had when moving over to another server...just goto Setup > SQL Settings to edit these options (not sure about the menu options, as I dont have a copy of links SQL in front of me )
