What SQL ver for editors?

What SQL ver for editors?
I have seen a few threads discussing the ability to have editors in Links SQL, but I am not sure if this is a feature that is already used or not. This would definitely be an awesome feature that I would use. I had a look in the latest beta and I could not find anything about editors, is this a feature that is going to be released in a later version?

There are basic features for this in the 1.13 version, and I released a mod that expands upon it somewhat.

The whole system has been expanded for the new release (2.0 version).

Let's not forget Widgetz's modify.cgi modification, pugdog...I am sure that the logic in his modification served as a starting block for the modification you wrote.

So, basically, yes, this feature is available in earlier versions as early as Links SQL v1.11 (pugdog, I am still using a modded version of Links SQL v1.11 and I have the user/editor management system installed...not yours, but a modded version of Widgetz's modify.cgi) and this is more integrated in the NEXT GENERATION version.

I can see why I missed it now, there isn't really any mention of it until you start working on the search templates. Looks like it should work just fine. =)

You can see it in the default templates if you:

1. Use the category browser in the admin and create an editor.
2. Go to the user side and login as that user. You'll then see a link that says Editors.

Cheers,

Alex
