I hear allot about individuals with 500 000 links plus. I'm a new born when it comes to the web. How do people promote their sites so well as to get 500 000 plus individuals to post their site? All of you could sure help me out by posting your link to www.areakiosk.com

Hi,

A lot of them have just taken dmoz.org's content (but are not obeying the license by putting the advertising). It takes a lot of work and effort to get a directory of that size legitimately.

As a newbie to the web I need to know how I can import the data from www.dmoz.org. Also if you take a look at my site www.areakiok.com you will see that I need to be able to only import certain sub categories like north Dakota, South Dakota etc....

If I can not do it how much will it cost for your group to do it?

You can do it using nph-import.cgi. If you do a search for dmoz you will find lots of helpful threads.

Can you email me the instructions on how to do all this....Paul my degree is a Bsc in Cardiac Rehab...the first time I touched a computer was a year ago...so you could say Im kinda dumb on the whole thing...also if it is too difficult for me what will you charge to do it?
