URLs in search results?

URLs in search results?
Often people enter in the URL of a website when they do a search, I guess either because they don't know how a browser works or they want to see if that particular site is listed yet. Currently, if you do a search for a URL, it won't show up in the results if the site is already listed. Will this feature be planned for a future version?

Thx

Make sure that you have set a weight value for your URL field in the TABLE MANAGEMENT section of admin.cgi.

Then re-index your Links and Categories tables.

Good luck!

That's great, could you please tell me the exact steps to get to this spot? I can't seem to find the setting for this.

Thx

I just looked and the URL actually already has a weighting of 1, it must be because I am still using an older version (Version: 2.0.0-beta1) - I have been waiting to upgrade until the finished version comes out to try and reduce headaches. =)

This is a bug in the search module that has been fixed.
