Text limit to include_rightsidebar.html?
Hi,

Is there a limit to the amount of text/content you can insert in include_rightsidebar.html?

I am having this strange behaviour where at a certain point the text will simply not print to the page?

No, there is no limit to the amount of content you can put there.

Please be more specific and provide a sample of the code.

I've not been able to reproduce it.

It was in that template inside a conditional where after a certain point the text in the IF statement was getting truncated.

My guess was that I was using some character that affected PERL ... I guess?

Are you using Firefox or Safari on OSX? For some reason template edits etc. can get truncated when submitting forms (seems to be worse when cutting and pasting within a text field).

This behaviour is not restricted to Links; I have seen it occur with vBulletin and other template-based systems.

Good call!

I just this strange behaviour with FF and WordPress today.

No idea why - it is very frustrating when editing templates though Mad.

My solution is to copy the text field I am editing to the clipboard before submitting the form. Then if something 'strange' happens, I have a copy to work from.

It even happened to me when replying to this post - it choked on a set of brackets I had. Bizarre.
