Templates?
Please forgive me! I must be overlooking something brutally obvious. I can't figure out how to change from the original template in any way what so ever.

Has anyone had to do anything special in order to change a template? I have searched the forum and it appears that I am the only person having this difficulty.

Hi,

You sort of lost me. Smile
What do you mean by "I can't figure out how to change from the original template in any way what so ever."

Maybe I am doing something wrong. I have selected Build. Then tried to change from the default template to yahoo.
Then I have clicked save changes. Then I performed a build. When that is done I still have the default template no changes at all.

Any ideas? I know it has to be something real basic that I am overlooking but what is it?

Same thing I screwed up on. Copy all your template files local, edit the set you want to use, then copy that set into ...cgi-bin/links/admin/templates/default directory. Don't worry. I felt pretty stupid asking too. Wink

I tried that the first 3 times. However you are correct. I found what I was doing wrong and naturally it was a lame mistake. Blush

I am almost certain that the default templates went in the admin/templates file in 1.xx . I was putting everything in the admin/templates folder not admin/templates/default . Any how that problem is resolved. On to bigger and better diversions.Crazy
