Would it be feasable to add keywords or 'known as/same as/sounds like' words to categories in the next version.

I appreciate that current sub-string searches can find words that are split, e.g.; "Website" > "Web Site", but there are occasions when things can be known under a variety of different names, e.g.; "Cosmetics" > "Make Up", "Camper" > "Motorhome", etc. where a sub-string match doesn't apply and additional 'match this' words might help improve search results.

Try adding higher weight values for the Description and Meta fields in the Category table via the editor.cgi (table maintenance script). Then re-index your links and categories.
