While i use a picture and a longer text for my categories,
i need to span the category pages. Has someone done this before?
While searching for cat and span i haven´t find anything about that. (Only one question without an answer.)

Links SQL spans categories pages by default. I'm not sure I understand what you mean? Which pages do you want broken up?

I know about spanning the cat pages when there are more than build_links_per_page
but i have to span the cat pages when there are more than build_cat_per_page.

But not on cat pages with links in it; that´s another and truly more complicated thing (in static mode there must be build more than one page for the first, second, third ... page.)

I have a main cat called videos.
There i have to add two times a month a new cat with name 21.10.2002 e.g.
Inside this cat there are 5 to 20 videos as links.
While i need 24 cats per year and while i show a title, a description and a pic for every cat the site would be very long after a while.
My next step is to add new cats with Archiv 2001, Archiv2002 and so on. But with this i will have still a problem soon.

So i need to span this single cat page (and maybe the archiv-pages later.)

Hope my english is enough to understand and so i have insert a screen (small and with a gauss cause its adult material.)

Is there solution for this? I want category span too. :(

say my category name is A and there would be 100 subcategories in this A parent category

on A page, I would love to list 20 subcategories each.

So, it would be A page1, A more1, A more2, A more3, A more4, A more5
