I have a lot of entries like: Boy & Girl. Most of them get changed in the database to Boy & Girl... is this good practice?

Also, when I search for Boy & Girl, the result I get is Boy & Girl... and this also hits on a lot of the   I have hidden around. Is there an easy way to make sure search NEVER hits on  , and to make a & a &???

This is a bug - I believe it was fixed in the latest version 2.1.2

I checked- I am running Version: 2.1.2

I seem to remember I got a modifoied version of Search.pm (I think) from Alex for some reason. Maybe I should unpack the old version and see what happens....

I have it working - I know it was fixed by Alex as I reported the problem to him earlier. Not sure if he got it into 2.1.2 though...

I'm sure he will enlighten us when he is back

It could be a good idea for Klaus to attach the search.pm in this thread. this makes email requests & reply about this for him unnecesary.

Thanks Klaus for posting this. I did already upgrade to 2.1.2 yesterday, which fixed part of my problem. I hope this version of search.pm fixes the rest of it.
