Search Results And Symbols
Whereever there is a symbol included in the links, the search results display it with a prefixed character. For example:

© Where the original page has : © for Copyright.
CompanyName™ Where the original page has : CompanyName™

And likewise for all other symbols which always get prefixed with  in the Search Result.

How Can this be rectified?

Mmm.. do you have a meta charset defined in the <head></head> part of your HTML? Normally setting to UTF-8 will work.

Adding utf-8 takes care of the © and it's showing © in search results too. Even ® works out well. But TM symobol now appears as:

CompanyName&#153;

Had put this in search_results.html

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

Any suuggestions ...
