I have beta2 installed and when I run a search on my database of 10k links / categories, it doesn't return any of the categories in the search. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

No. Not that I've heard.
1) make sure there is a weight in the Category.Name field
2) repair your tables.
3) re-index your database

On the Database top-menu option, select "Category" and "Properties" from the side menu and hit [GO]

Hi,
What do you mean by 'an extra index.html'?
As for searching, it sounds like the weights aren't set for some reason. You can check this by going to Database->Category->Properties and look make sure the column Name has a search weight of 3 (or some value greater then 0).
Cheers,
Alex
