I just setup Links 2.0 beta 2, in another directory, with a different SQL database, but now my 1.13 validate doesent work.
To be more precise, it will add the link to the database, send the email ok, but the link "validate" that you use to check the URL before validating does not work. It is pointing to my cgi-bin/admin/'URL of the link'. Has anyone had this problem?? Any clues as to how to fix it?
I haven't rebuilt the directory for fear something else may be wrong.
Any insight would be appreciated.

This means that the link that was submitted didn't have 'http://' at the beginning.

LOL :)... I feel like an idiot! I had 5 links all submitted by the same guy.

would it be possible / not too much work to let LSQL automatically test if the user submitted the 'http://' portion of the URL when adding a link?
I'm asking because it happens quite often here that users don't type the 'http://' and I always have to add that manually.

Would be great if this could be included in the next version.

Hi,

You could go to: Database->Links->Properties and edit the URL column and set RegEx to '^http://' (without quotes). That will force the URL to start with http://.
