Forgive me if this has been addressed in Beta2 (still working with Beta1 of 2.1.0) - but it would be very useful if we could modify User Options so that they do not have to register in order to review links - I fear having too many seperate registration systems, and I don't need them to register, although it would be useful to validate reviews before they are published.

Any thoughts?

I seem to remember Alex saying it was fixed in beta 2. Try that and see if you have more luck

Have got it all up and running now. Will wait for the final, non-beta version now. Have learnt to make sure I backup my templates before installing updates though!!

Hi,

I was afraid of that. We tried to make the warning clear in the upgrade. Did you miss it?

Also, with 2.1.0, you should not make changes to templates in the templates directory, but put your changes in the local directory. This will not be touched during upgrades, and gives you a quick glance at templates that have changed.

I saw the warning about backing up templates before downloading Beta2, but not when I installed Beta1.

However, this is probably my fault for not paying attention enough. I backed up my database, but didn't think about the templates which was silly of me really.
