We moved our instalation of gossamer to a new server recently and reinstalled the script but we seem to now be experiecing some wierd problems with links v3.2.0. Although we have added new links, they do not seem to show in the 'new' links section and the script doesnt seem to be writing the new pages by date (or at all) for some reason in the static build yet it does show in the dynamic build?

We have not had this problem on other instalations on the script, just this one but I cant figure out what it can be? The permissions look the same twixt working instalations as this one?

Any ideas?

Just been checking the log and it has this error:

Hi,

Try renaming the /var/www/domains/femdomspankingstore/cgi-bin/links/pages/New/ folder to "NewOLD", and then make a new category called "New", and CHMOD to 777. Then, do a build again - and see if that helps. It sounds like its a permissions error, so this should sort that out.

You would think so wouldnt you? Unfortunately not.

BUT it did alert me again to the fact that there is some of the directory that is in the cgi-bin and some in the public area of the site so I with some searching in the paths I noticed that under setup / paths and urls there is a text link that I guess i missed at the bottom to take you to other paths and urls that needed to be updated in order to make everything work properly which I didnt notice (a case of not seeing the wood for the trees?).

So its fixed now! :-)) Cool!
