is there any way of allowing the links to search for numbers. ie. when searching for postal codes etc

1) Add an index weight value to your "Postal Code" column in the Links table.
2) Re-index your Links table.
3) Enter a number via your search form.
Voila!

Actually i may have explained that wrong, I have the postal codes in the description box. i also have some titles with numbers ex. 3M Inc. when I do a search for 3M nothing comes back even though 3M exists in the database. :/

I believe searches only work on strings of text 3 or more characters in length.
I think I saw something on this board not too long ago that discussed a hack to allow two character searches. Sorry, don't remember the subject line of the thread, however...
