newsletter problem
I'm having a problem where a user can not go to the newsletter. My server almost freezes when a user clicks on the newsletter. After five minutes of waiting, it shows a page can not be displayed. Every other cgi script seems to work fine. Is this a memory problem? I think it froze my server last night. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

- Jonathan

Have you taken a look at your error logs?

Server wise, subscribe.cgi is what is causing the memory leak. Is there some other kind of error log that links has or is there someway to debug this file to find exactly what the issue might be?

Thanks,

No, there's no internal error log. You'll have to go through the code to figure out what's wrong.

I have no idea what is wrong with it. Since I have upgraded, I have never used the category subscribe feature. I probably need to re-install links and community all together. I'm currently optimizing my templates using css. Once I get these done (probably take me a month), I will reinstall and hopefull my problems will be gone.

For now, I just renamed subscribe.cgi.

Thanks anyway,
