What is the correct format for entries in db_referers ? I can't see anything in the documentation...

It's just a comma separated list of referers.

On a side note, I discovered that if the referrers in your referrers list don't end with a slash than someone could create their own domain with your url in it like this:
blacknight.com.mydomain.com and it will pass the referrers check

I've started entering referrers like blacknight.com/,myotherdomain.com/
