is it possible to enable detailed page in dynamic mode but not build static dynamic pages ?

Your best bet is to use Pugdog's detail.cgi plugin (from the plugin area). It works a treat and the search engines actually spider your links as well. Saves lots of disk space!

There's nothing easier than this. All you have to do is call any link like this:-

<a href="<%db_cgi_url%>/detail.cgi?<%ID%>">Detailed View</a>

As I said, this plugin works very well and Google will spider all links using detail.cgi.
