Sessions directory...
Can the files in the "sessions" directory be deleted as I have loads in there now?...

yeah, i am the only one using mine (perhaps 1 other person) and i already have 50 odd sessions in there, most size 17. Does it just keep on filling up or are they purged automaticaly somehow?

you can kill them. They should be periodically purged, but I'm not sure what time-frame links is using.

OK something weird is going on....

I just deleted about 300 files from the sessions directory and when the directory refreshed, there were hundreds more and so I deleted them again and loads more appeared....

If you are doing this via FTP or some shell program, you might have a limit on how many files it can display.

Drop to telnet and list the programs.

BTW... anyone running a dedicated server who does not have Webmin installed, is a masochist (just thought I'd add that, and it's directed to no-one in particular, just a general public service annoucement :) <G> (I'll be adding them randomly to my postings from now on <G>)
