I have successfully made a complete import of the RDF open directory data, using Links SQL 2.04.
I have a problem with the Swedish characters å ä ö. After importing the RDF data into Links SQL these characters is displayed as: ä Ã¥ ö This is also how the data is present in the raw content.rdf.u8 RDF file. Since my site will be targeted to Swedish users i must have this characters displayed correctly.
Any ideas about what's need to be done to have this characters displayed correctly in the Links SQL database and also when i build the pages? Using sed and simply get through the content.rdf.u8 file and replace the text seems like a possible solution, but i guess it must be a more smarter way. Any ideas ??
