Now That I have Dmoz Extracted, where do I upload it to?

I just got the Dmoz Extractor. I have 2000 Links in a single Category.

However the Documents that came with Dmoz Extractor is a little week for a beginner to Links 2.0.

I know this was covered in the group else where, but I still cant figure it out.

Do I upload it? Thanks. Unsure

Yes, http://www.linksuite.com

Except their documents on importing to Links SQL is slim.

I also have them already converted to Gossomer, but was wondering where to upload them.

Oh, I never realised it supported Links SQL. In that case, I have no experience with importing it via that method, sorry.

Well, its simple.

It produces several data files.

categoryid.txt
links.db
linksid.txt
url.db

Thanks again.

They are Links2 files, but it should then be as simple as using the Links SQL import script.

Lol...never thought of doing it that way. I always just use nph-import.cgi Wink As Paul said, they are Links 2 format, and they will be importable via the Import script with Links SQL. I'm not sure if you need to set up a copy of Links 2 first (because of the .def files needed etc), and then do the import, or if you can, just tell the script where the database files are.

Hope that helps a little Smile
