Hi!

Is it possible to implement the NOT operator or is this operator already implemented? For example a search like: "ships NOT space" should find all "sites" with ship on it but without space.
Can anybody help me with this?

Yes, enter 'ships -space', that should do the trick.

Well i tried this "ships -space" thing before, but it doesn't work for me. It seems that the '-' is treated like a '+', which doesn't make sense ;). Any idea what I could have done to the system that it's behaving like this now?

PS: you may want to try out (it's an german catalog)
but just type 'mode' for the first search, and 'mode -schule' for your second search. in addition try 'mode schule' (default is 'and'-search). url: http://www.fastrun.de/kurier/
