Yep,
I've been using it for several months with no problems. I upgraded early to take advantage of the boolean full text search feature.
I've also played with the query cache, but the benefits aren't that great if your database is frequently written to, ie: forums.
I haven't noticed any performance or stability increase (or decreases for that matter)over version 3.
