Can we have a "general links SQL NG", a "bugs links SQL NG" and a "hacking links SQL NG" forum? would probably make it a tad easier to see what is going on?

I agree that some sort of "Developers" area would remove the bulk of posting from the other groups, and leave less noise in the questions/discussion area.

The hacking questions could be split between the discussion forum (where basic questions could be asked) and the developer's area where hacking and mods could be discussed. Maybe change "Links Discussion" to "Links Installation and Setup". And add a Links SQL Developers area.

The question is whether a 1.1x series and 1.2x series forum needs to be set up. My feeling is no, since there is no reason to use the 1.x series programs unless you are locked into them, and that will become a smaller and smaller segment of the population.

I disagree...I think that there will still be a large enough population using "lower" versions of Links SQL and dividing inquiries by version will be quite helpful in terms of efficiently providing suggestions and also reduce risk of providing suggestions for versions where codes do not apply.
