I've just started working on a new site which uses vbPortal and vBulletin. (example at http://www.motormonkey.com)
The former ships with PHP-based weblinks which is, to be honest, rather poor. I'm currently running LinksSQL on another site and would like to use this instead of the Weblinks module which ships with vbPortal.
Has anyone some suggestions as to how this might be integrated? I can use HTML or PHP code in the modules (blocks) within vbPortal, but am fairly new to the product, and indeed to PHP - recently moved over to PHP from Cold Fusion.
I would welcome further discussion on this topic and advice as to the best way to integrate Links SQL. My initial thoughts are to just use PHP include code within the block where weblinks currently exists. Any thoughts on this?
Kind Regards,
Ross Williams
